About Bridges of Hope
Faith-based Resource Centers are a program of Santa Clara County
Mental Health Department aimed at providing faith-based reentry supports
and services to individuals returning to the community and their
families. These Faith-Based Resource Centers provide services in a
natural community setting, not in an institutional setting.
The Faith-Based Resource Centers are easily accessible by car, bus
or walking. All are welcome to receive support and services, regardless
of faith tradition – no appointment required.
The Cathedral Office of Social Ministry is dedicated to serving those
who are homeless, those released from incarceration, and other
vulnerable residents of San Jose. We help them improve the quality of
their lives, integrating health and social services in the belief every
human being is blessed with God-given dignity. Each day, the program
serves approximately 200 individuals who represent a wide variety of
denominations, ethnicities and traditions. Services are provided free of charge through three programs: The Window, Healthcare Clinic and Bridges of Hope.
Mission Statement: Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County serves and advocates for families and individuals in need, especially those living in poverty. Rooted in gospel values, we work to create a more just and compassionate community in which people of all cultures and beliefs can participate.
