About Southeast Texas Transitional Center

Programs and services currently offered at the Southeast Texas Transitional Center include life skills, individualized case management, structured supervised living environment, cognitive behavior groups, balanced nutritional meals with special medical and/or religious diets available,HIV/AIDS and STD prevention and awareness, non-denominational religious activities, employment assistance, recreational/physical fitness resources, referrals for mental health and/or medical services, and transportation assistance.

GEO's diversified services platform provides unique capabilities for the delivery of educational and vocational programs, cognitive behavioral and substance abuse treatment, and faith-based services across the entire corrections spectrum.

GEO provides complementary, turnkey solutions for numerous government partners worldwide across a spectrum of diversified correctional and community reentry services. From the development of state-of-the-art facilities and the provision of management services and evidence-based rehabilitation to the post-release reintegration and supervision of individuals in the community, GEO offers fully diversified, cost-effective services that deliver enhanced quality and improved outcomes.

Ms. Stewart in reception and monitoring was most helpful answering my questions. She is the first to show compassion and give advice in order to help my brother get out and on with his life.

  3. The office/management are uncouth and act like a bunch of bullies. They allow people to be high off K2, and steal but if you are five minutes late from an activity due to the bus being late t posted November 13, 2019

  1. No they no longer pick you up once you have a job they say that you don’t apply for facility transportation due to the fact that you can provide your own but they want you to pay 25% of your check to the facility posted October 2, 2020
  2. No, they will NOT take you to work, however they will pick you up if the buses aren't running...after waiting anywhere from 1-3 hrs posted August 19, 2020
